Spring Break

Spring camp

Once again during the spring holidays, an open orienteering training camp was held around the city of Varna, organised by the local club Begun with the support of the Bulgarian Orienteering Federation. This year the camp was based in the town of Byala (Varna region) and brought together nearly 300 participants, including 25 representatives of SKO Trapezitsa-1954. The programme began with 5 forest training sessions, a relay on the beach near the village of Shkorpilovtsi and 2 competitive races for the Begun Cup.

Tarnovo Ultra

This year, once again, a large part of the team took part in the trail race around Veliko Tarnovo.

🥇Sofia Petrova won the shortest distance – 14 km – in the girls' under-18 class.

🥉Vihra Ruseva finished 3rd in the same race

8️⃣Maria Dikova placed 8th, meaning that for the 2nd year running our club has 3 representatives in the top 10 among girls under 18.

🥉Rosen Hristov finished in 3rd position over the shortest distance – 14 km – in the under-18 class. Having won the same distance in 2025, this year Rosen was only a few seconds slower, but his rivals proved much faster than in 2025.

4️⃣Kristiyan Marinov also ran strongly and finished in 4th position in the same race – 14 km in the under-18 class.

6️⃣Georgi Mitsov finished 6th, having already taken part in the 24 km bike leg, and in the duathlon standings he placed 4️⃣th in the under-18 class.

8️⃣Marta Ruseva placed 8th among the women over the 25 km distance.

Easter Cup

While one part of the team was racing on the trails around Veliko Tarnovo, another part took part in the traditional orienteering races around Targovishte.
